Tooele and Morgan Counties Rural Planning Organizations

Morgan County Rural Planning Organization

Formed in 2017 as the Morgan County–Ogden Valley Rural Planning Organization (RPO), this group supports transportation planning across Morgan County and the upper Ogden Valley. In 2021, it was reorganized and renamed the Morgan County RPO.

The RPO helps ensure that transportation projects reflect the needs of local communities and move smoothly from planning to development. It plays a key role in shaping a shared long-term vision for transportation in the area.

Tooele Valley Rural Planning Organization

The Tooele Valley Rural Planning Organization (RPO) was established in 2004 to create a coordinated planning process for the communities within Tooele Valley. Through this partnership, local leaders work together to identify transportation priorities and prepare for future growth.

Like other RPOs, the Tooele Valley group produces a long-range transportation plan that helps guide project development and ensures community needs are recognized.
